Today there are some things that are like the racism toward black people in the 1920's. This modern day event started on the day of 9/11 and this hatred is towards people of the middle east. This common day event is like the racism but not nearly as bad as it was in the 1920's. But the common day issue has brought on some very unfair stereotype on the people of the middle east even though it was because of one group. This stereotypes were a caused by terrorists. Our government did take action on this issue in the wrong way we played the blame game and invaded Iraq and for a while they searched every middle eastern person as if they were terrorists. This issue has some what stop but the war in Iraq is over but the stereotype are still there. But it isn't that bad that people don't get hired because of race or background. If Hollywood were to make a movie of the freedom riders documentary it would be very interesting. Because of advances in computers and technology I think the movie could be very good. They have done things like this before. I know this because before movies some time say in the opening credits and in the trailers it says "based on a true story." If they had good effects, got all of the facts right and good actors/producers. I think that movie would be respectable. They would need to know all the verbal abuse and unfair treatment and to get the difference between in the North and South in the treatment of black people.
